These are all the remaining stories   Boyko, Chris, Blackouts: Stories, McClelland & Stewart, Toronto, 2008.

115. "White Crows"
London, England. WW 2. Skeptics, para-scientists, ESP and bombings in the night. And scientific trials of the mind's power. For some reasons I kept thinking of Elizabeth Bowen's The Heat of the Day for some reason.
116."In The Dark"
A warning to keep your appointments with weirdo-s. This is a great story. Not what you expect at first or in the end.
117. "The Black Gang"
At sea. A son of the rich shipping magnet doesn't want to be on the cruise ship. Has his head in the details so as to write an article for the media that he might as well have it up his arse or in the sand. Reminded me of children of rich conservatives who go to college on the parent's dime but embrace the revolutionary party of the moment while living off the fat of the land so to speak. This story takes place back when nether regions as a comment affronted a woman of a higher standing.
118. "Black Ink"
I had trouble with this story. I don't know if I didn't get it. I did get it was connected quite closely with the story that follows. I had a little trouble with the form. Couldn't connect the dots all the way.
119. "Past Lives" Beautiful writing of memory. Stellar writing of the human body in decay.

More interesting stories. I'm going to really have to make an effort to find this collection. Even the one you had a problem with, although you don't give even a hint of plot, intrigues me by what you left unsaid.
